This esteemed online platform, dedicated to design-centric furniture, has chosen to establish itself on the Left Bank, specifically within design producer Mayaro’s expansive premises, meticulously divided over three levels to create an extraordinary showcase. Crafted under the artistic direction of Garcé & Dimofski, this destination invites visitors to embark on a captivating journey through a cutting-edge contemporary selection sourced from this marketplace, enriched by a sprinkling of vintage gems. Tucked away at the rear of the gallery, an intimate dining area will graciously accommodate the select “Happy Few” for exclusive private dinners.

Beginning in September, Giopato & Coombes will add a luminous touch to the City of Light with its distinctive lamps and lighting fixtures. Founded by the Italian and British duo, Cristiana Giopato and Christopher Coombes, this studio will launch a temporary gallery in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Dominique Crenn, the United States’ sole triple Michelin-starred female chef and the world’s top chef in 2016, has at last opened her inaugural restaurant in Paris, situated within the brand-new La Fantaisie Hotel. Within an elegantly designed ambiance envisioned by Swede Martin Brudnizki, this celebrated chef pays homage to her adopted home state of California with a vibrant, meatless cuisine that is both free-spirited and dedicated to a more sustainable world. At Ambos, Pierre Chomet (formerly of Top Chef) and his partner Cristina collaborate in the kitchen to create a delectable culinary experience within a wonderfully cozy and minimalist setting. Situated just across from the Jardin du Luxembourg, their restaurant, which transcends borders, celebrates their diverse backgrounds (he’s French, she’s Venezuelan) and narrates their culinary journeys across the globe (exploring South America, Spain, the UK, Thailand, and beyond). “Book your seat, not your table!” Chef Maten Zaken dares to break from tradition. Each night, 18 fortunate guests partake in an extraordinary culinary journey around a single communal table, immersed in the distinctive ambiance meticulously created by architect and designer Guillaume Terver, the visionary behind Studio leLAD. Photography will take center stage at the Centre Pompidou in September. “Corps à Corps” will showcase a collection comprising over 500 photographs and documents drawn from two remarkable sources: the Museum’s own collection and that of Marin Karmitz, the founder of mk2 Cinemas.
